Whois .al

Sic shumekush e di, domainet shqiptare nuk kane akoma nje strukture te mire per automatizimin e rregjistrimit te domaineve. Megjithese AKEP po punon per nje strukture perfekte dhe teresisht te automatizuar per rregjistrimin e domaineve, data e sakte se kur do te jete aktive kjo strukture akoma nuk dihet (!?).

Normalisht rregjistrimi i domaineve kalon ne disa faza dhe faza e pare dhe me e rendesisshme eshte ajo e Pyetjes nese nje domain eshte i lire. Domainet .com, .net dhe te ngjashem, ofrojne per kete nje sherbim Whois.  Ne faqen e AKEP ka nje forme kerkimi e cila te jep nje pergjigje pozitive ose negative per lirshmerine e rregjistrimit te nje domaini.

Duke qene se nepermjet host.al jane bere shume rregjistrime te ketyre domaineve, ne kemi ofruar te njejtin sherbim ne web duke terhequr ne menyre te perditshme rekordet e reja qe rregjistrohen ne AKEP. Sherbimi Whois qe ndodhet tek Host.al eshte pak me i plote se informacioni qe gjenerohet nga forma e lirshmerise se domaineve tek AKEP. Informacioni qe host.al jep mbi domainet, permban dhe te dhena teknike si Nameserverat e domainit dhe SOA Contact, por duhet pranuar qe ky informacion nuk eshte gjithmone i sinkronizuar dhe permban nje faktor pasaktesie. E megjithate as host.al e as AKEP nuk ofron nje Whois Server i mirefillte, ose me sakte nuk ofronte 🙂

Whois Server?

Per ata qe si une, qe shumicen e kohes ne PC e kalojne duke pasur prane nje ekran te zi shelli dhe qe jane mesuar qe kerkesat per whois te mos i bejne nga nje shfletues, por ne ambientin natyral te whois, ne nje net-request, komanda whois domain.ext eshte komanda baze. Megjithate ky sherbim nuk ofrohet per domainet shqiptar pasi nuk ka nje Whois Server.

Whois eshte nje sherbim i ofruar mbi protokollin e Whois. Ky protokoll eshte specifikuar ne RFC 3912. Ne specifikimin e tij permendet qe:

Protocol Specification

   A WHOIS server listens on TCP port 43 for requests from WHOIS
   clients.  The WHOIS client makes a text request to the WHOIS server,
   then the WHOIS server replies with text content.  ...
   The WHOIS server closes its connection as soon as the output is finished.

E shqiperuar dhe ne terma me praktik, do te thote qe sherbimi Whois pret nje tekst komande ne porten 43, kthen nje pergjigje dhe ne perfundim te kesaj pergjigje mbyll lidhjen.

sherbimi i whois do te percjelle direkt per tek registrari perkates i cili ka dhe nje whois server per kete domain. Nese pyetet per nje domain .al, pergjigja do te forwardoje nje nje whois server i cili nuk mund te beje percjellje me tej per kete domain.

Sherbimi whois te lejon te pyesesh nje server te caktuar nepermjet komandes: -h hostname, keshtu cdokush tani mund te perdore sherbimin tone per te pyetur per domainet .al dhe do marre nje pergjigje.
